JESUS? PG6

Up to this point, I have explained why I do not believe the Jesus story. I now want to expound on some things that I touched on earlier in this essay - how ideas/Ideals, which are not physical, are manifested physically by way of images and words, both spoken and written. I will use John 1:1 KJV to hone in on my position more deeply. John 1: 1 KJV reads - ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ This verse is undeniably clear and true. But the way people interpret it is wrong. I have discussed these ideas in previous essays but want to go further with this essay. To begin with - all creation consists of two parts that together make a whole, one-part Intelligence and the other body. Humans, being part of creation, are similar, consisting of both mind and body. I suppose one could think of this combination as dualistic. The physical part is superficial and mutable. Like a spoken word, which, in a split second after it is spoken, is gone. The Bible supports this in James 4:14 KJV ‘Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.’

However, most people have a shallow scheme of things. Like Narcissus, when they look at Creation, they see a mirror image of their own physical makeup. They validate their existence this way. They deceive themselves into believing that the superficial aspect of their existence is true reality and count it as everything. By doing so they save their asses but lose their souls. Consequently, they also conclude that the world of Ideals/Principles, which constitute the Mind of the Creator, is useless or of little worth since it is not accessible physically. In fact, the physical world, including our bodies, is inanimate, lifeless. God, also referred to as Life, creates, enlivens, governs, and sustains the physical world. We also refer to God as Good, Love, Right, Truth, and Peace. According to Islam God/Allah has 99 names. Of course, we can’t fully describe or name God. The ‘names’ stem from human experience. That being said, if I say that a person is truthful or righteous or good or loving, I am describing a person’s character. As it pertains to God though, these descriptors and characteristics are elevated to the Ideal. That is, truth becomes Truth, righteous becomes Right, good becomes Good/God, loving becomes Love, etc. All that I am saying leads me to the conclusion that God is a person with a Mind and a Body. Using binary language to express this, Mind translates into 1 and Body into 0, 1 being substantive reality while 0 is reflective reality. One being the Ideal(s) and 0 being the expression/reflection thereof. It also is a master slave relationship
