JESUS? PG4

The Jesus story never made sense to me, even as a child. I asked my teachers at church so many questions. But their answers never satisfied me. Questions like - Was God born in a manger? Does God suffer, hunger, bleed or die? Does God have a mother or siblings? Does God squat down to shit? How can anyone believe that God and Jesus are indistinguishable? Jesus, on one hand, lived I n a box, his body, during a specific, measurable time on earth. Whereas God is omnipresent and immeasurable. For me, it begs the question, can an ocean fit into a cup? Additionally, the Bible states that no man can physically see God and survive it. They would die. At best, like Moses, they can only glimpse God’s afterglow. But Jesus, by the Bible’s account, interacted daily, face to face, with everyday people as all humans do. Catholics interpret the Bible as saying that Jesus before he died anointed Peter to assume his role as God’s representative on earth with authority over the Church, making him the first Pope. Following that line of reasoning, they then claimed that since Peter was God’s representative on earth, his word was infallible. And that, consequently, every Pope’s word is also infallible. They stuck to that lie for over fifteen hundred years even though monstrous sins have been committed by many Popes. Only in recent years, has the Catholic Church recanted, admitting that the Pope’s word is not infallible. It has always been a lie created and used by men to enslave people. In essence, it is simply a variance of another lie - that Jesus’ word is infallible. The trick being that if one man can do it, then so can another. Only God and his Word are infallible. And his WORD cannot be limited to or contained within a book or one man, namely, Jesus. Infallibility is not possible for humans.
