REBIRTH PG3

So, it is fitting that the first and last stages of this pattern are thought of and renamed ‘rebirth’ to accurately reflect the way the world works. All life being cyclical and eternal. The day may seem to die when the sun sets but it always returns the next morning. The year may seem to die when it settles into winter, but it too returns every spring. And, by way of extension, it makes sense that creature life also follows this pattern. So, why do Christians not believe in reincarnation when stories of rebirth are all around us? Basically, because they are taught by ‘religious authorities’ to believe otherwise. Ironically, even if Christians say that they do not accept or realize that reincarnation is true, they do believe, at the very least, that all life IS eternal! They even have names for the places where we will supposedly live forever when we leave this earth - heaven and hell!

It is ridiculous to believe that, after living on this earth for seventy, eighty, ninety or even one hundred plus years, we will then spend eternity, based on our actions while here, either in a place of eternal suffering or eternal bliss. It is more believable that for one to get to heaven (Nirvana) they must grow into it through experiences acquired over many lifetimes. This circle of life type phenomenon that I am referring to simply manifests the ebb and flow of Life. And it begs the question - Is it the case that physical creation, acting as one body, will experience rebirth - a sunset followed by a sunrise? Will, as it says in the Bible, there be at some point a new heaven and earth? Yes, to both questions. Rebirth/Regeneration is the purpose of the process. And I will now discuss my reasons for believing this.
